Treasure Coast 2017 Holiday Family Events and Christmas Parades

Here is a quick list of Christmas parades and family events here on the Treasure Coast. Since this is a parenting blog, I mostly include only kid friendly events on this list. This includes Hobe Sound to Fort Pierce. Also check out my 5 star rated parenting books below!

Christmas Parades

Friday, Dec 1st: Stuart Christmas Parade 7 – 10pm, parade route goes down Ocean Blvd in downtown Stuart.

Saturday, Dec 2nd: Port St. Lucie Annual Festival of Lights Christmas Parade at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, parade starts at 6pm with the tree lighting and photos with Santa after.

Saturday, Dec 2nd: Hobe Sound Chamber Christmas Parade starts at 1pm, Crafts start at 10am. Parade starts at Bridge Rd and Dixie Hwy.

Sunday, Dec 3rd: Historic downtown Fort Pierce Sights & Sounds Festival & Parade 1 – 6pm, parade starts at 4pm on 2nd street. Special guests and lots of fun things to do at this one!

Saturday, Dec 9th: Martin County Christmas Boat Parade 6pm, parade starts at Wahoo Marina and can be seen at Sandsprit Park at 7pm and Manatee Pocket about 8pm.

Saturday, Dec 9th: St. Lucie Boat Parade at the Fort Pierce Marina 6pm – 7:45pm, parade starts near Harbortown Marina and proceeds through the Fort Pierce Inlet.

Saturday, Dec 10th: Meridian Marina Martin County Christmas Boat Parade 6 – 9pm, parade starts at several locations including Sandsprit Park and Flagler Park.

Holiday Family Events

Nov 18th to Dec 24th: Come see Santa at the Treasure Coast Square Mall daily until Dec 24th.

Nov 30th to Dec 3rd: Come see the Hobe Sound Singing Tree from Nov 30th – Dec 3rd every night starting at 7pm at the Hobe Sound Bible Church – Free Admission.

Friday, Nov 24th: Christmas on Main Street. Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Clause, facepainting and more! 4pm-7pm in downtown Stuart.

Saturday, Nov 25th: Tradition Square in PSL Tree lighting, bounce houses, take a photo with Santa, and more! Tree lighting at 6:30pm and Fireworks at 8:30pm.

Thursday, Nov 30th: Twas the Night Before Murder – A family oriented murder mystery dinner benefiting 4Kids Treasure Coast – Tickets are $30 per person.

Friday, Dec 1st: Spirit of the Season free Christmas performance – starts at 7pm at Calvary Church in Port St. Lucie. 

Friday, Dec 1st: Tradition Square Food Truck festival with Santa available for photos from 5pm to 9pm. Located at Tradition in PSL.

Friday, Dec 1st: The Polar Express Storytime and activities with Barnes and Noble! Come in your pj’s! Starts at 7pm

Saturday, Dec 2nd: How the Grinch Stole Christmas Storytime and activities with Barnes and Noble. Starts at 11am. Other Christmas storytimes available every Friday in December.

Saturday, Dec 2nd: Port St. Lucie’s Annual Festival of Lights at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center 2 – 10pm, featuring a parade at 6pm!

Saturday, Dec 2nd: The Redemption of Scrooge, a Christmas play performed by St. James Christian Academy at the Savanna Club Theatre in PSL. Tickets are $10 – 772-466-2000

Saturday, Dec 2nd: Breakfast with Santa fundraiser for the Boy Scounts – open 7am to 11am. Admission is $7 at the door and $5 in advance. Held at First United Methodist Church in Stuart.

Sunday, Dec 3rd: Downtown Fort Pierce Christmas Festival 1 – 6pm, Santa arrives at 1:30pm!

Thursday, Dec 7th: Holiday Charity Concert presented by the Jensen Beach High School Bands. Starts at 7pm at the Jensen Beach High School Auditorium. Admission: canned goods or $5 donation.

Saturday, Dec 9th: Tailgators Brews & Grill is having Santa visit from 1pm to 3pm! Free kids meals with purchase of adult meal and crafts and fun.

Saturday, Dec 9th: Sons of Italy 3rd annual breakfast with Santa – starts at 9am and ends at 12pm. Adults $12 and kids age 4 – 10 $10.

Saturday, Dec 9th: Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens plant and gift sale – includes How-To workshop on making holiday wreaths. Runs from 9am – 1pm.

Tuesday, Dec 12th: Tradition Square Annual Chanukah celebration and menorah lighting.

Thursday, December 14th: Santa visits Minsky Gym for photos and yummy treats! Opens from 10:30am to 12:30pm for kids age 1 – 5. Admission is $5/child.

Friday, Dec 15th: Tradition Square Food Truck festival with Santa available for photos from 5pm to 9pm. Located at Tradition in PSL.

Friday, Dec 15th: Sounds of the Season – Free Community Concert at Sunrise Theater in Fort Pierce. Starts at 7pm.

Friday, Dec 15th: Pancakes with Santa at the Port St Lucie Community Center 9:30am for kids 2-5 years old. Includes crafts and face painting! Admission $7.50/child

Friday, Dec 15th: Children’s Museum Holiday’s Around the World with Music, games real snow and more! Admission $5, free for members.

Saturday, Dec 16th:  PSL Rocks Charity Drive at Tail-Gators Brew & Grill! Runs from 7pm to 1am. There will be raffles and tons of painted rocks!

Saturday, Dec 16th: Tradition Square Winterfest – includes bounce houses, face painting, activities, and more. Runs 10am – 12pm.

Saturday, Dec 16th: Treasure Coast Bacon Bash! Beer, Bacon, and Live Music from 12pm to 9:30pm! General Admission $5

Saturday, Dec 16th: Martin County Parks and Rec Winterfest 3 – 8pm, Indian Riverside Park – Bounce houses, food trucks, candy cane forest, winter wonderland with real snow and more!

Saturday, Dec 23rd: Barnes and Noble Storytime presenting “Santa’s Magic Key.” Free storytime starts at 11am in the kids section.

Sunday, Dec 24th: St. Bernadette Catholic Church Christmas Pageant – Free event starts at 5:30pm

Other Fun Activities To Do

Santa’s Christmas Tree Village in Fort Pierce Open Daily and has many activities for the family – call for more info at 772-528-1935.

The Holiday Lights Spectacular in downtown Fort Pierce – featuring over 100,000 dancing lights that run daily from 6pm – 9pm until Jan 4th.

Santa’s Workshop Experience in St. Lucie West is open starting December 1st! Includes a 45 minute paid tour through Santa’s workshop and private meeting with Santa himself. Click here for website.

Tykes and Teens 10th annual Festival of Trees and Lights – Nov 26th to Dec 2nd. Check out their website for more information.

Treasure Coast Mall has photos with Santa and train rides!

Bass Pro Shop in Port St. Lucie has photos with Santa NOW and you get 1 for FREE and they even do pictures with pets! They also have crafts and kid activities on the weekends.

Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club has FREE Open Houses with awesome model railroads setup, click HERE for the schedule and info.

Heathcote Botanical Gardens of Light – Every Friday and Saturday night Nov 24th – Dec 30th, 5 – 9pm (paid admission) check website HERE.

Port St. Lucie Community Center on Airoso has a Christmas light show with music every evening from 7 – 9pm.
